Federal loan programs vary from one program to the next, and come with a number of student rights as well as many responsibilities. To ensure you understand these rights and responsibilities, federal rules require you to participate in two loan counseling sessions. - Entrance counseling must be completed before you can receive funds from your first loan at OCOM.
- Exit counseling is required before you graduate or otherwise leave school.
These counseling sessions are designed to make you aware of the terms and conditions associated with your loans, and to prepare you for meeting your loan obligations.
